Oyster max or Phil and teds dot/navigator?

Anyone any advice?

I really like the oyster max as it gives you so many options and has a proper carrycot which I prefer.

However it takes up soooo much room in the car.

Like the Phil and teds but worried about baby outgrowing coccon before they can actually sit up!

Also does anyone know about buggy boards for either?

I don't think buggy boards work for the P+T - but may be out of date. I never used the cocoon for the P+T - the foot muff for it is nice and snug.

My DC2 outgrew the P&T Navigator cocoon by 8 weeks. But he was 9lbs 11. A less monster sized child would have lasted slightly longer. The older child also reclines on top sat at an odd, reclining, angle. I wasn't that impressed and hardly used it. But v manoeuvrable and compact. Pity I didn't realise before shelling out £650 or whatever.

After 8 weeks I resorted to trusty Maclaren and a sling until DC2 could sit up.

I should have posted a more positive review. I have an absolutely pristine P&T for sale now...

Thanks both that's really helpful.

I am worried about DC2 outgrowing the newborn bit of the cocoon as using a sling would be difficult for me due to back problems.

Saw the oyster again yesterday and think I'm going for that!
