Mothercare Xpedior. 3 or 4 wheel?!

Hi all,
First time posting on this site, just hoping for some help choosing really!
We are due our newest addition in September, gender unknown as yet, and I have my heart set on the Mothercare Xpedior. Due to me choosing this, i've told DP he can choose the 3 or 4 wheel option, and he prefers the 3. Just wondering if anyone has any opinions on which is better of the two? We live in an area with lots of woodland available for some lovely long walks with our other children, so the 3 wheel option seems good there as it's better for rough terrain apparently, but then I worry about punctures and cost of replacing tyres. Theres also the fact that I assume the 3 wheel frame would be longer than the 4? I'm waiting until our gender scan on April 5th to go and view the pushchair in Mothercare as we can choose our colour-pack then, but until then, can anyone offer me any advice on 3 v 4 wheel version?! Thanks in advance x

read up thread and avoid this like the plague!

If you want a 3 wheeler the only one worth getting is an out n about nipper 360... they are so light and can take a toddler up to 4/5 years old.

Avoid the mothercare one like the plague. Lots of negative reviews and I know someone who works for a pushchair returns factory and this is the number one return for faults.

I agree with the previous comments, I have a friend with am xpedior and it was back at mothercare for a repair within 3 weeks of using it and has been back several times after that as well - steer well clear.

I looked at the xpedior and its HUGE IMHO and looks very plastiky and cheap especially the wheels which seem to be blow molded plastic nothing else Confused some lovely ladies recommended me a Joie chrome from mothercare for roughly the same price i am also look at a carrera sport 3 in 1 which is like the bugaboo chameleon only lighter cheaper and easier to use are you like me on a £400 or below budget OP :)

I'm also due September and have my heart set on the xpedia, I'm going for the 3 wheel only because the wheels on the 4 wheel version have no tread, very thin and look cheap!

2 friends also have had the 3 wheel one and have never had any problems

Hi. I have been searching the internet to find anyone who has used the black and white carrera sport 3in 1 pram, and just found this post. I was also interested in the mothercare xpedior, and just can't decide. Rusty koala, can I ask, did you end up buying the carrera sport, and was it worth it? Thanks x
