Alternatives to double/twin? Newborn and 2.4yo

I absolutely love my pushchair (mamas and papas urbo) but I don't think dd will be 100% walking when new baby arrives. Don't really want a double or twin pushchair so thinking of alternatives. Looking at a buggy board or similar?

Obviously dd can walk! Just not sure she could keep up with pace and distance just yet. She doesn't nap in the pushchair. Would like a sit down option for her.

I'm going to do sling and single pushchair. I have two carriers, a baby Tula and a toddler one, so I can also carry my 2 yo if he wants. It'll be a 2.3 year age gap

I did sling/pushchair and buggy board/pushchair with dd1 and dd2 (2.8 years gap) very successfully. When dd1 was tired and needed a sleep she went in the buggy and dd2 went in the sling, the rest of the time dd2 was in the buggy and dd1 was on the buggy board. You can get some buggy boards that have a ride on seat like the Litaf or Kid Sit.

The easy x rider has a moulded seat with a lap strap, I used one for 3 months with a 2y 1week age gap. It was excellent but small hard wheels and no suspension mean it's noisy and a bit bumpy so not great for long walks. There's also going to be the buggypod perle at some point this year, that will fit on the lascal maxi. The maxi has bigger wheels and suspension so might be a bit more comfortable and also stick out from the pushchair less.

Thanks, I've just spotted the perle. Will have to have a look around.
