Anyone use a Joovy Ergo Caboose

My dd will be 2.4 when we have our 2nd dc. I had hoped I wouldn't need a double buggy, just using a sling. however, i get a bad back and I think I may be safer with a double buggy.
I would like to be able to clip the carseat on for ease. I doubt dd would be happy in a back seat of a phil and teds or ones like that. She is far too nosey!
I've found the joovy ergo caboose and it looks ideal. Just wonder if anyone has used it and can tell me what they like/dislike. Thanks in advance.

Haven't used it, heard it's a nightmare to steer. If you're talking toddler at the front then even more so. I had a graco ready2grow for a while, it was a whole body effort to turn with the toddler at the front.

If it's any help most tandems would leave your elder child in the front seat until the baby is sitting upright, by which point she will probably be doing more walking to offset time spent sitting in seat with slightly limited view. Just a thought. Also we had many a tussle over the lower seat... that didn't stem from any sort of logic I would apply to sitting in it.

If you have back trouble something easy to push sounds like a plan. Have you ruled out a side by side? Some take 1 car seat.

I know you're not keen on the tandem style, but do check out the oyster max tandem - as pp said, the toddler can sit forward facing on the top seat and baby can be in the carrycot underneath, but the seats are also a decent distance apart offering a better view for the bottom passenger than other tandems.

Bought this yesterday for 2.7yr age gap when this one is born in April. It's sooo pretty and I can't wait to use it :)

And you can use a car seat in the top position on height raiser things so the bottom seat has a good amount of room. I can see us using this combination a lot.

DO NOT BUY AN ERGO!!
It is the most horrible pushchair to push ever...and thats saying something! I took mine out on its maiden voyage and I had zero control over the steering. Thankfully I literally ran into the in laws and they got me to the tills and on the path home. It went on Ebay within minutes of getting home and I was VERY glad to be rid.
Meanwhile I had the Joovy Ultralight Caboose and that was a breath of fresh air in comparison. I loved mine. It was huge fun.
Both of the Joovy's are very long folded, and TBH I agree with the others to look at other options. I know the fixed height handlebar of the Joovy may be an issue if you have a bad back. Also its not the best option for the baby to be in the car seat all the time. I dont like the open through hoods for winter either.
