Dear experts please help a new mtb that has no idea what to do really!

I have bought the quinny buzz in rebel red as it was on special offer, new colour is being introduced so gene price reduction. with the maxi cosi pebble.
We need a pushchair suitable from birth, both my oh and I are tall so baby could be too, prefer a metal frame and all terrain style as we live in the countryside. We drive or walk most places so don't need to access public transport, have a decent sized boot and am sure in March, so goodness knows what the weather will be doing.

Budget is about £300 for the lot should I be looking elsewhere for a better reviewed make/model? Does anyone love their quinny?
TIA Smile

I loved my quinny, only replaced it as the frame broke (2006 model) and I need a double!! It now lives at pil as their buggy, they have a farm and its great off road, I would put tyre slime in as the wheels can puncture which is a pain! Enjoy it Grin (don't suppose you need a carry cot do you?!)

I liked the quinny, it wasn't brilliant for snow but in the UK we're unlikely to get enough snow for it to be a problem. The problems arose when trying to get it through knee-high snow on holiday.

My husband liked the extendable handle, I liked the ability to easily guide it one-handed. Our daughter wasn't too impressed with the carrycot but I suspect she just didn't like being lying down and not seeing much. She was a lot happier once we put her in the reclining seat instead.

I love mine, it's easy to fold, easy to push, and light to carry. Comfy for boy. The only thing I would say is that the basket is teeny tiny, so I've got a big clip that goes on the handle. My boy also didn't like the carrycot, I just used the car seat until he was big enough for the big seat - they're not supposed to be in it for more than two hours but he rarely was.

Yes! I am getting rid!! It's black and an old model, I found the quinny ok in the snow, although we didn't have loads and loads

I loved my Buzz 4 - it had the brilliant suspension, was so easy to push and the seat really hugs round little ones. It was great for city streets and rough country tracks and I didn't ever get a puncture. The air tyres meant I could bump it up and down steps easily. It also felt really good quality and the strap pads were really cleverly fixed to the straps.

The only downsides I think are the small basket and the hood is a bit small.

I am onto my second Quinny Buzz, I keep it in my boot for the days when I only have DC2 .
They are great for any terrain, walked miles with mine in winter and autumn over leaves etc.
I had the old style carrycot with my first Buzz but have the new style folding one this time and it looks great. much more stylish and the new style raincover that comes with it is ten times better than the previous one. Fits very snugly and has accessible zip to reach into baby .
I was out in the pouring rain yesterday and LO was snug as a bug!
But yes as above the downside is the shopping basket, i Just have the Buzz basket this time, not the Buzz box as found it got too splashed/dirty as it hangs very close to the ground.
I now use a little messenger bag which hangs over the handle bar part just for a few nappies and 2 bottles of milk x
All in been very happy with both Buzz models plus they hold their value to resell on Ebay :)

I personally hated mine. I had the very first model out in 2005! It was brilliant when DD1 was under 1 but once she got bigger and heavier, I found it hard to push and it could be a bit unstable going up and down kerbs as it would tip to one side. Also the wide wheel base at the back can be pain when pushing round shops as the back wheels often get caught on display stands. As I said I had the first model so some of my gripes could have been ironed out by now.
