out n about nipper double, are they all 72cm?

Or are there older, wider versions? I am looking at buying one of these second hand but i need it to be narrow so it fits through my door. I know the new one is 72cm wide but are older versions the same or wider? Also, please tell me i am not mad for buying one of these when i also have a phil and teds

No they aren't all 72cm, somewhere during the v2 they changed from hmmm 77 I think? I don't know how you'd tell what version it was from a picture though.

Thanks miaow, i think 77cm would just about squeeze through the door. I think i have made a mistake getting the phil and teds to be honest. I just dont like dd on the bottom but it was the only thing that would fit in the boot and it is good for squeezing round places. I am planning on keeping it for when we are in the car and using the nipper for walks. My only problem then would be squeezing past the nipper in the hall if they were both asleep!

Mines is a year old and 72. And for sale, but your probably not in NW Scotland!

It has been a fab buggy and I choose it over phil and teds - was very glad I did!

I bought one in 2007 and I'm sure it was 72cm, on the website it said 77cm but I measured it myself and it wasn't as wide as that. I had a single Jane Powertrack 360 and the Out and About Double was only a little bit wider!

Thanks both, i am going to look at one tonight so hopefully i will end up getting it. Glad the width hasnt been a problem, i just think that 72cm would be that bit easier to get in the house. Has anyone bought the additional shopping basket? I plan to use it for trips to the shops for a few bits do you think i would need it?

Also, thanks igloo but scotland is a bit far!

We got the shopping basket for free as we bought the display model cos it was cheaper and I hadn't really realised how much I would need a double buggy so we wanted to buy one there and then not wait for delivery. I had visions of walking everywhere with DD1 in buggy and DD2 in sling but was soon wrong! I couldn't have managed without the shopping basket to be honest, especially for big bottles of milk and stuff, the pockets on the back of the seats are handy but not enough to store £30/£40 of shopping I would have done on the occasions I walked to local tesco

Peed me off royally not being able to drive the pushchair in through the door. If you can get one that will go in as oppose to not then you might as well imo. Dunno if it's the area I live in but seemingly insignificant extra couple of cm of width are always catching me out but it does very much depend where you need to go. I'd get a shopping basket too, have lived without them in the past and tend to travel pretty light but it's just easier to have one.

I got the pram! Havent tried the babies in it yet because it was late but it fits through the door with a bit of a wiggle. I am going to get a shopping basket as i want to use it to go to the shops so think its kind of essential. Cant wait for the road test, everone says how nice they are to push. It was a mega hassle squashing it into the car tho so think i will have to keep hold of the phil and teds for now. Thanks everyone

What colour did you get?! I told DH I was going to have another baby just so I could get one in purple! They are a dream to push, I got mine so I could hold my dogs with one hand and push buggy with the other. Even with two children in it was really easy. When you put it in the car, make sure the seats are pushed forward when you fold it down and the front wheel is turned so its all as flat as can be.

Its a grey one, a v2 i think. Couldnt justify getting a new one as i have the phil and teds too. but if i like it as much as i think i will i might sell the phil and teds and get a new one the purple one does look fab, well worth having another baby for, ha ha

I totally love this buggy. Took it out for a walk before and it pushes like a dream. The babies look so comfortable in it too. I really want a new one now. Does anyone know if the v3 folds up any smaller than the older models?

Ah glad you like it. I miss mine, I gave it away when I didn't need it anymore. My older two asked me the other day why I didn't keep it, I said because you are 6 and 7!

The folds are very similar. Just 5cms less wide. If you have a 72cms V2 then the fold will be the same on the V3.
