Bugaboo - are they worth it?

I'm wondering whether anyone who has a Bugaboo would give me an honest opinion - my question is 'was it worth it'? Was it worth the extra hundreds of pounds, and if so why? I really like the product but also the iCandy peach (I think, can't qutie remember which fruit!) and the Mamas and Papas Solo.

I'd be willing to pay out for Bugaboo if it's justified, and we'd cut back elsewhere. But, at the same time, I think that it is a hell of a lot of money to splash out when there are other good products out there.

Your views will be much, much appreciated as this is a minefield!

Yes they are worth it, however there are plenty of other pushchairs which are great quality but in a similar class in terms of what they do function wise e.g. the Silver Cross Wayfarer, Britax Affinity and the iCandy Pushchairs (all of them), Uppababy Vista, Baby Jogger Versa. I think you need to look at exactly what you need and whether a Bugaboo (whichever one) will suit you better than another pushchair. Look at details like fold, fold size, seat size, basket, weight, push etc. Also look at what is included as well as with some of my other suggestions you have to pay extra for hoods, footmuffs, carrycots, bumper bars and raincovers.
