Babystyle oyster. Uncomfortable for baby

Any advice would be really appreciated.

I ve had the oyster pram from dd birth.

Now shes 11 months old, its becoming abit of a pain. When the seat is in the most upright position shes not fully sat upright and is not comfortable. Shes trying to pull herself forward alot.

The hood is far too big.

Her legs hang down the sides of the footrest. I ve adjusted this but with the seat not going fully upright, shes not comfortable.

Im thinking of getting rid of it and getting a stroller. However i went into mothercare and a staff member explained that most strollers dont sit bolt upright either!

Could you put a cushion behind her back?

There are many many many things with a better upright position than the oyster. Loads of great things about oysters but the seating position isn't one of them.

If it was me I would sell it and get something else but try your dd in a range of things before you decide.

I'm afraid I got rid of the oyster when dd had to go into the seat unit as I found it awful. Bought a bj versa, expensive, so not sure you'd want to go for that. I've been looking at the new mamas and papas armadillo, might be worth a look. But can't make any suggestions on how to improve the oyster.

The Kiddy City 'n Move stroller has a very bolt upright seat, as does the new Babystyle Oyster Gem hammock seat which is about to come out. TBH I get what you mean ahout the Oyster, and it may be worth considering the Gem instead. The Armadillo does look good too, and I also love the Graco Evo Mini which has a very upright seat too. The bigger Graco Evo is excellent as well.
