Faulty pushchair from mothercare

I have the babystyle oyster was bought end of march and baby was due end of august from mothercare used it this morning and the button to unlock the front wheel has come off any one know what mothercare will do as I don't want repair done as I have only been using it for 4 weeks. And the first 2weeks wasn't very much

With something relatively small like a button coming off/locked wheel (if i'm understanding right?) I think they are likely to offer a repair.

Suppose you could argue for a return and refund if that's what you want, google consumer rights, will give you an idea of what you can expect. I can't remember the details but the period of time after which it is deemed you have "accepted" the item (as oppose to rejected it for being not of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose etc) is relatively short.

I havent got the details in front of me, but I suspect given you are outside of the first 6 months since sale, that you will struggle to get your money back. Companies rarely consider that you haven't used it until your baby was born, however, its worth asking when they would regard the warranty as beginning as some companies do accept a pushchair wasn't used until the baby was born.
