It's only early days but I'm trying to focus on something a bit more light hearted than scans and heartburn!
DS will be 2.10 and I had always said we'd never get a double. We drive quite a lot and he only ever uses the buggy when we're in town or once or twice a week on a short walk. BUT it did occur to me that even at 3yo, on long days on holiday or on one of our quite frequent weekends in London, he'd probably still need to sit down quite often.
So maybe I should get something that can be converted to a double if we need to?
And secondly, I'm going to need a new pram anyway as I'm not happy with the Bee+. We lived in London when we bought it and it was perfect - fitted every criteria and I wouldn't have had anything else. Now we live in a much more rural area and it doesn't cope with the off roading at all, not to mention the cobbled streets. Plus, I really would like something with a carry cot.
I'm quite attracted to the P&T with the option of buying a second hand doubles kit if we need. I love the cocoon too. BUT not sure about the lack of parent facing option. And which one would suit us best - there seem to be loads. Is the Dot sturdy enough for cobbles/cliff paths/gravel etc?
Also they aren't cheap and I'm already struggling to convince DH we need to replace the Bee!
What else should I look at? I should add that where I am EVERYONE has either a Sola or a Cameleon and I just think they are so BIG and I don't want to faff around deconstructing something to get it into the boot of my car. Which I do alot. Bee is perfect in that respect and I am always the first out of any carpark!
Thanks in advance!
