Best double buggy for 3 year old and 1 year old

I'm soon to be moving and intend on walking to work but think it will take too long if my 3 year old walks. Can anyone recommend a good double stroller that folds small but not too expensive?

It maybe depends on your definition of small folding, good and not too expensive! Would you consider a buggyboard, it might be as good a solution as a double depending on circumstances.

i'm pondering the same question, my cheap but v functional tandem pushchair got recalled. I use a board, sling one child, plenty of walking etc but the double was still pretty useful. I wouldn't want to spend any real money replacing it yet i too want it to be good...hmmm.

Double umbrella folds are the smallest folded but harder work to push, a p and t of some sort would be easier to push (some more than others depending on model) a good used side by side like a nipper, mb, easywalker etc easiest to push but large folded.

I already have a buggy board and find that it is good but my little boy likes to get on and off it constantly.

What I meant when I said small was umbrella fold, I did have a p and t but found it too big when folded and didn't really use it as my little boy likes to walk, now we are moving ill be able to walk to work but don't want to be dithering around waiting for him.

Gotcha.. i don't know though, the only one i've ever pushed is the kiddicare rainbow one that's 36 quid. Stupidly i've never even pushed it on pavements, only in the woods :-/
