Is it easy to convert an I candy peach into a double?

I already have an I candy peach and I'm expecting #2 next march (so still early days) but just wondered how easy it is to convert the single into a double, also does anyone have any idea how much it will cost? TIA

Have you got a Peach 1 or a Peach 2. If you have an older Peach 1, which needs a basket conversion then that will cost you £50 I believe. The older Peach 1's and Peach 2's (new colours) dont need this doing.

It currently costs £205 for the Peach Blossom convertor - bars and lower seat, and £185 for the Blossom carrycot. The seat liners are £40. Bear in mind that if you have a Peach 1, that the colours will not be the same.

I suspect I will have the old peach 1, how would I know? It was bought jan 2011.

I'm pretty sure it will be an old one, i have a vague memory of there being a tool on the icandy website where you could put the chassis number in and it told you... i think the extended basket ones arrived very late 2011/early 2012.

Here it says they have a manufacture date of 17/07/11 onwards so yours will need the basket extending. All the other peach conversion info is on the site too.

Not sure if it's going to be worth getting a blossom carrycot as well. It annoys me that they don't just make one carrycot that will fit either a double or a single! There's nothing wrong with my old £195 carrycot...except it won't work on a double!

I agree ocean I got this pushchair thinking I may need it as a double at some point. Now I'm thinking it might be better just to sell it and get a cheaper double from ebay Sad

Same here! Frustrating isn't it! (because I do love my icandy, and realistically, you'd only get £450 for it second hand, so it's a lot of money to waste just for one year)

Although...I do like the fact it does into a double without doubling the width! I fail to see how people go anywhere with a double width pram!
