Shall I bother buying a new buggy? If so which one?

Our Bugaboo Bee is broken. We are trying for a second baby at the moment and have a friend who has recently had her last baby (just turned 1) offering to give us her Phil and Ted and Bugaboo Chameleon when we have our next (Don't call me mad for wanting both. I am desperate for one with a carry cot - hated not having one last time around).

We have got a very battered (a 6 time hand me down) Oh Baby that is rather awkward and a nightmare to fold as a back up. I really don't like using it but is there any point getting a new one?

I obviously would prefer not to spend a huge amount of cash and wonder if it is madness to get another if I am going to be inheriting two to buy another.

But will I be really pleased to have a lightweight easy one and possibly still use it in the future any way? I have been looking at the micralite as DH hates the maclaren handles for some reason. But even second hand it is so pricy!

Thanks in advance for any advice!

I wouldn't get another pushchair if you are being given a Bugaboo Cameleon! I would love to be given one of these, seems to get great reviews. Can you see how you get on with the 2 you mention, and then if do decide you need a lightweight umbrella pushchair when your baby is older you can get a new one? You wouldn't need it for about the first 6 months anyway.

DC1 is going to be 2 in November.

We wouldn't be getting the Chameleon until we had the next one as imagine they will want it til then (although they are mostly using a maclaren at the moment - so many buggies!).
