That is the question in a nut shell but I have so many questions really.
I?ve reached a head in the hands moment when it comes to pushchairs/buggies/strollers. There?s just so much out there. I?m hoping that someone wiser than me can come along and tell me exactly which one I should buy, but failing that, any advice for or against would be so helpful.
We do quite a bit of walking so would ideally like a buggy that can cope with rutted tracks and a bit of mud. We won?t be scaling any mountains with baby but do like a good length county stroll. We will also get a backpack/carrier but DP has a back condition so we will need to take the buggy out and about too a lot of the time. We only plan on getting the one buggy so we are looking for a bit of a balance between complete all-terrain and something we can push around the supermarket, museums, shops, etc.
My one requirement is that I would like it to be parent facing and I would like to buy new rather than second hand. We probably won?t bother with a carrycot so a seat suitable from birth would be ideal as this buggy would be for a newborn.
We thought we?d cracked it with the Teutonia Spirit only to find that the 2013 model is no longer parent facing so back to the incredibly confusing drawing board.
I?ve been a bit seduced by the Teutonia range (I think it may be the Germanness of it) so have had a look online at the Cosmo and Mistral but can?t work out how they will cope on rough ground. Has anyone had one of these and can advise?
So any advice on what we should have or should avoid would be amazing. I really can?t decide if we need a 3-wheeler or if 4 will be better and everything either seems to have mixed reviews or hardly any reviews. If possible we?d like to have a big hood, adjustable handle bars and it would be great if it could be reasonably small when folded (Teutonia Spirit seems to fold in 3 rather than in 2) and we?d rather avoid those fixed bucket seats but none of these features would be a deal breaker.
Thank you so much to anyone who has taken the time to read this long post and thanks in advance for any answers.
