Looking for an inexpensive but sturdy stroller, recommendations please!

Our trusty 7 year old Silver Cross Pop has broken and would cost more to repair than replace, so I'm looking for recommendations.

It needs to be sturdy, and fit a very tall child (DS2 is almost 18m and is almost at the top of his My3 seat unit already). Easy folding and a large basket would be useful but not necessary.

Ideally we need to spend under £100 .

So please give recommendations to good strollers please!

We have one for 1.8 yo DC2, but 5YO DC1 still fits in it at a pinch. It is really rattly, but lies flat, has a decent basket and is quite narrow. However, it doesn't close very compactly,.more V-shaped!

We also tried out this one when DC2 was 5mo, but it wasn't very supportive, which wouldn't be a problem for a child your DC's age. It's a lot smoother than the Echo, so if our Echo dies, I'll probably get this one as a cheapie until DC2 is old enough to walk everywhere.

I have just bought a mamas and papas trek, they gphave a sale on at he min, got a stroller, weather pack, which is the hood, raincover and fabric beach bag type bag, plus foot muff, all for £75 delivered. I tried it out in an outlet shop yesterday, it feels sturdy, the seat is quite deep and looks comfy.

I didn't even need it, but bought it for use on holidays.

I have read reviews about it, apparently the wheels don't last long if you use it constantly, and it reclines by releasing 2 straps at he back, so mot he easiest to recline, but my dd doesn't hardly ever sleep when we're out anyway.

I found it really good, but they also have other more expensive strollers in the sale too.
