Baby Zen Yoyo - does anyone else find the handle really high?

So I went off to buy the yoyo last week as ive been looking for a lightweight stroller for ages and it looked fab in all the reviews.

It looks great and is really light but the handle is ridiculous I am small at 5'2 but my hands are up near my chest if I push it.

Im back to the drawing board for a very light pram and its so annoying the handle is non adjustable.

Has any one else found this. Cant believe im too short to own a yoyo!

QueLinda

I bought Yoyo a couple of months ago after waiting for it for ages. I was really excited then when I tried it out the first time what struck me was how how the handles are and how uncomfortable I felt- i am 5 ft 3 so similar height to you. I felt very disappointed as there is nothing else wrong with the pushchair....this problem won't be there for anyone who is petite but wears heels/wedges everyday! However I don't like wearing heels so I am in flats all the time so can't solve the problem that way!!!!!

Anyway, it's a few months on and I'm now used to the high handlebars now and I do like the Yoyo and that's the only buggy I use.

Also, the reason I guess the handlebars are not adjustable is that it is meant to be used as a 2nd buggy not a main one and I suppose if they put that feature it might not be light or compact

It is a higher handle, but thats whats so FAB about the YoYo! Most of the smaller folding pushchairs have really low handles! I am 3-4 inches taller than you and its BLISS to have a small pushchair with a decent handle height :) I have had to sell so many pushchairs over the years because the handle was too low! There's plenty of small folding low handled pushchairs out there:- Zapp, Noa, Xtreet, B-Agile etc.

Thanks for your reply Beige1

I also where flats too so no boost in the height department!!! It seems like a design flaw to have such a tall handle when so many women are under 5 '6 .

Maybe I will go back and take another look. It is a great pushchair apart from this. So light and nice, chic design. Hmmm I might get used to it, it was just surprising when I saw it in real life.

Glad it suits you Tiggywunkle! I'll take a look at those other pushchairs.

Maybe yoyo will think about an adjustable handle someday as its really uncomfy for the petite folk to have such a tall handle.

I'm another taller person who finds nearly all fixed height handlebars way too low. I'm 5'6 so not enormous. I'll be very happy with the yoyo handlebar height when I eventually give in and splash out on one Wink

I have been complaining about how low the handle of my petite zia is today. I feel your pain! We should swap Wink

You're welcome QueLinda

I was thinking the same, why didn't they create one for petite women and one for tall women.

Dunno if this helps...another pushchair I was looking at before Yoyo was Joie Aire, it's a lot cheaper, same weight and compact fold but not compact as Yoyo. It's not as sturdy and chic as looking pushchair but I would have bought it if my ds could sleep in it in reclining position. It does recline. My ds is not tall but you wouldn't call him short -taller body??? That's what loads of people say. If I remember correctly the handles were not high. Also try all of Tiggywunkle suggestions and then finally look at the Yoyo again -that's what I'd do anyway.

The Casual Play Livi for the record has a high handlebar too :)
