My ds is 14 months. I bought a big reversible pushchair when he was small because I wanted him to rearface. Its a lovely pushchair and easy to push, big basket etc but a bugger to get in and out of car.

Now hes older he likes to forward face all of the time, hes very nosy Smile . Do I keep the big pushchair even though I never use the rear face option or sell it and buy a cheaper, lighter forward facing buggy type.

I just cant decide Confused it would be easier for me getting out and about but I like how comfortable the big one is.

what did you do? did you keep your big pram or buy a smaller pushchair when your dc was older?

Id love to buy a bee but my budget wont allow it, unless I go second hand..

Try out a smaller lighter pushchair if you can. I find smaller lighter pushchairs are less comfortable for the child, feel heavier to push as wheels smaller and less good suspension, and also heavier to steer. I have a lightweight quest and a cam, and I rarely use the quest

Thanks for the reply chocolate. I think I will regret it if I sell my main pushchair. Think I will buy a small buggy to keep in the boot for short car journeys etc and keep on using the other one.

That way you can always sell the big one if you find you're never using it. I'm always surprised how many people seem to prefer light strollers.

Its very possible to find a smaller folding pushchair with a comfortable seat. The Baby Jogger Elite and BJCMGT have padded seats - especially the Elite. The Kiddy City 'N Move has a comfy seat. The Easywalker June has the most comfy seat so my DD tells me....she will tell anyone its her most cosy pushchair.....My brain isn't fully awake but I am sure there's loads more with good seats.
