Phil and teds / Quinny buzz with lascal buggy board for a newborn?

I've got a buggy board and tried it on my Phil and teds today but not happy with the space, DD was leaning backwards and I couldn't really reach over (although bump is in the way!) I haven't even tried lying it flat and can only assume it will be even worse...

Someone locally is selling a quinny buzz and I quite fancy it, and have seen a friends in action, but not sure if it will solve the problem. Does the buggyboard fit well in 'newborn mode'?

I wasn't planning on using the carrycot, just the newborn insert.

Hello
We used the buggyboard with the quinny and it worked ok. Definitely don't get the carrycot though as your daughter won't be at all comfortable.
A word on the quinny though, the rear facing mode doesn't go upright, only slight recline and then fully horizontal, which if you want rear facing for quite a while, might be frustrating for baby who wants to face you and be sitting upright. (well this was our model bought in 2008) It is ok forward facing, has fully upright and recline positions.
I wish all along we had bought a bugaboo, faces upright and forward!!

Thanks for the info. So you'd say it works with buggyboard in parent facing 'newborn' mode though?
