Ok.
I read all the timr and hear from friends about buying and selling pushchairs and prams.

I have an icandy apple. Its been brilliant but DD)(almost 3) is now too long for it. Its in good condition with a carrycot (that was never used as she only liked the sling!) and I want to sell it and replace it with a mountain buggy urban jungle.

Here is the issue. We cannot seem to find one!

Like really really! DD is unlikely to give up a buggy soon, she has cerebral palsy, and we do a lot of walking. I'm due another baby in 3weeks and was hoping to use the MB UJ carrycot while recovering from a CS then switch between using the carrycot for short trips which DD can manage, and a sling for baby on longer trips.

Sob. So tell me oh wise wise people, where can I find this buggy?!)

eBay? Just had a quick look and there seem a fair few.

I feel the need to check, can you easily switch from seat to carrycot on the UJ? I'm not totally sure that you can, I think you need to remove all the seat fabrics to use the carrycot... does anyone know?

You can find one here and the carrycot here :)

Ihateparties - You need to remove all the seat fabric to use the carrycot.

Also Amazon sell the Urban.

Ah I should have said that I'm only looking secondhand, there are a few on ebay but none near us (east anglia) and majority I've seen require collection.

Re the ease of switching I intended to set it up for one or the other of them before leaving the house. Its just I know DD (DC1) will need a bigger buggy for much longer than most and there will come a point either child can use the seat and the carrycot be sold on.

Or. I wait until this baby is big enough to use the MB as a buggy and just keep an eye out...

Red - Have you tried this lady (she's in bristol but will post at buyer's expense.)

Also this one at £170

I haven't done it with a MB but the couple of things I have had that required the fabric stripping off weren't takes a couple of minutes sort of jobs.

Big seat though, sensible idea. A number of Baby Jogger models and the newest out n about nipper also take carrycots on top of the seat fabric so no changing required.

Hi
Just to say that waiting paid off, we have a secondhand. MB Urban winging its way to us which I bid for on eBay with sun screen cover, raincover, snuggle for baby and buggy board. (Just under £300 with courier)

Baby welly is now a month old and will almost certainly have grown out of the icandy carrycot in another six weeks. Plan is to then sell it and either child can use the MB seat which reclines fully, with the buggy board and a sling we're all good to go anywhere on foot.

Yippee!
