Quinny Zapp Xtra or Sola?

Have a budget of around £150-£200. Want a parent facing lightweight pushchair and looking at secondhand.

What do you think is the best pushchair out of these two? Or any other recommendations for my budget?

Is the sola big and heavy rockchick? It says on m+p website its lightweight and compact I dont like the look of the bubble, dont like the big lettering on the side.

The sola is bang on average pram size, fairly big folded, not light particularly. 60cm wide to the bubbles 50cm.

Which dimension matters most to you? Is it open or folded size, weight, width, overall shape?

Similar size to sola I would look at an icandy cherry, oyster, mutsy evo. The evo is not that small though. Bugaboo bee original would fall within budget.

Im currently using a loola, it is a little too wide because ive been used to a cosatto which is a lot slimmer at 44cm. Not sure what the loola is though, cant find the dimensions online because I have the older model.

The loola is also very heavy, must be heavier than 10kg. All that im looking for really is that its light enough to lift in the car, not too wide so I dont struggle with shop doorways and parent facing.

Narrow and light is kind of my thing.. the bee is narrowest parent facer i can think of outside of the bubble, at just under 53cm, the oyster is 56, the cherry 58. I was looking at the new phil and teds smart earlier, online not irl, and it looks interesting. 53cm, the seat looks like it reverses but doesn't sit upright parent facing, same as the zapp.

I suspect you will be okay with most things under 60cm in reality, personally i'm always looking for narrower but its not easy with a reversible seat i may have been known to import things from china because it was teeeeeny

I might add the jane muum to your list, it's 60cm but folds in one with the seat parent facing, which is useful for the car. You might squeeze a new one in if you stretch the budget slightly. It will be light to push like the cherry and oyster. The bee, if its a good used one will likely be nicest imho on the pushing front.

Ah, joie mirus if you can handle the wheel weirdness, steering from the back when the handle is flipped. There is a combi similar coming soon apparently but i don't know how soon.

I have seen the joie mirus.. seems a great idea but I dont know if I could cope with locked wheels all the time, especially as dd is getting heavier by the day

You have certainly done your research on widths.. I shall have a look at a few on amazon, ebay etc and see whats best.

It's the reason i've never had one. Wouldn't bother me now I don't thinbk but also they aren't narrow. I'm definitely led by open width and overall size as I don't drive. Ditto the value of bigger wheels. Width is my thing though, really hate wide. Have a lovely one of these that has stayed with me through a million other pushchairs because it's 47cm wide with a bar handle and decent basket. Okay it's crazy green but you can't have everything...not a reversible seat but I forgive it for everything else about it.

I want to see the phil and teds, the Easywalker June was the great hope but it turned out that its very hard to push and handle when parent facing as well as being deeply expensive.

BUT the Easywalker June has had an overhaul and will be BETTER later this year!!!!!! WHooohoooo!! It now flies up a kerb so fast that my DH got the shock of his life with a rear facing 4 year old on board (the hardest way on the current June to get up a kerb!) I am soooooooooo excited happy dances
It may yet turn out to be perfect!!
