In America. What would you buy.? Help!, travel buggy advice

I am on holiday in Florida and my travel buggy has snapped in half! I guess I wasn't expecting much since it only cost 40 quid.

What should I get for a lightweight travel push chair? I am slightly excited over the selection,choices and prices with the exchange rate... What would you get?

I already have a bee at home, so I am looking for a light, easy to carry and fold thing, that if possible can recline, even if only a little for my toddlers.

Any and all advice welcome.

Do you have a style preference? There seem to be um... quite a few style differences with US pushchairs. Plus do you want umbrella fold, or something that folds in half more like the one I linked above...

I know a couple of people who swear by their Graco Urbanlites and there are also a good few bumbleride flites and flyers knocking around with those of us who have a habit of importing things we fancy pushchair wise.

You wouldn't go wrong with a baby jogger of some kind.

I don't know what you want, there's sooo much choice!

Yes. I was looking at that emotion buggy, but I am slightly concerned that it is too big folded. Can I carry it down the stairs of London tube easily?

I want something light and easy. My children are older and bigger but still like a small recline to nap. I don't care how it folds so long as its easy. I need something for air travel, to chuck in the boot for school runs and to take on London transport and trains and such

Was looking at uppababy g luxe but it still seems big even when folded. G lite seems great but no recline.

Has anyone heard about inglesina? Swift or trip?

I've loved all my Bumblerides, the Flyer, Flite and Indie...I used a Swift when i was a nanny in 95-97, and it was part of the Inglesina family, in the same way M&P is part of Peg Perego.

The Flite is very small when folded up, with a handy carry handle.

I like those tall looking inglesinas. You sound like you kinda need a yoyo but I don't think they're in the US... unless I've just missed them. Something else I would look at is the apricas.

In terms of weight the Emotion is easy but the one I have which is a v1 doesn't have an obvious place to carry it by when folded. I think the current one is a v3, they may have fixed something on the newest ones. The hinges are defo better. I get what you mean there is a certain bulkiness to the fold. It's lovely to push though, even with older kids in... possibly better than a bee. When I first got it I ordered a bee and returned it because despite the parent facing bit I ultimately preferred the xtreet. I still do 3 years later, it's the only pushchair I have ever kept long term. My useage is different to yours, the carrying thing could well be an issue for you.

I think the urban lite is still to bulky?

Yes I do need a yoyo but they are not in the USA.
I debated getting one before the trip but thought it was too expensive. Now I am regretting it. But I need something ASAP.

I think baby jogger is too big.

I've got an Urbanlite and i love it, as does DH.

Thanks for the replies. But the urbanite is still 9kgs.... Do those that have it and like it find it heavy to carry....up stairs or on buses trains and planes?

Maybe I can try out the graco.

The bob motion is too heavy strawberry. It's too big for what I want.

I wouldn't choose to use my Urbanlite for travelling, as it is quite bulky to be honest...I'd use my Graco Citisport/Citilite but they don't make them any more.

Can you just go and buy our wish lists and ship them all back to us???!!

I went to a mega baby store and saw a million buggys. I ended up with the uppa baby G Luxe. I got it for a super deal only £85.
It seems good, like a Maclaren only better...but it is still its a little bigger and bulkier than I wanted, but it's the lightest of the bunch.

Hope I like it.... Keep suggestions coming though, I may change my mind

G luxe is fab. From 3 months to 25kgs. Big comfy seat with removable padding. big hood. removable cup holder. Total dream to push.

Its still a little long/bulky when folded, but it has a shoulder carry strap and stands when folded.

My only complaint is the toggle recline, which I always find a little annoying but over all it took us around florida and on the plane brilliantly
