DD 6 months old. We're about to move abroad for a year to somewhere v-sunny (jammy!). Any suggestions? Only criteria I can think is must be able to do parent-facing...

TIA!

Alright, so I've had a think about what I actually mean by this and here's what I'd like:

-Still able to do parent facing, but also...
-Has good sun parasol type stuff
-Available in light/ bright colour options

Erm, that's about it so far. Oh and really not keen on anything that comes with a carrycot type thing as standard as obviously at 6 months we're already out the other side of that stage...

So clueless, don't really know where to start!

Not sure, but If sunny= beach I would go for a pushchair with large wheels to cope with sand. Many 3 wheelers are good at this.. Will have a think

Maybe the mountain buggy with rear facing seat added.

Otherwise I think it's jut a case of choosing what pram you like and adding a decent sunshade.

Or a bugaboo bee with a breezy sunshade

MrsMeeple · 02/03/2013 10:18

Get something like this: aussiesfinest.jetshop.se/aussies-sunshade--c-175-1.aspx (or your local equivalent)

CruCru · 02/03/2013 13:27

Or Uppababy Vista. It has a great pull down sunshade, no need to faff with little parasols.

Tiggywunkle · 02/03/2013 23:10

I would echo the Vista suggestion. The sunshade is fab and its got the colours you want. I would look at the Baby Jogger Versa / Versa GT too. Although there isn't as many colours but the hoods are huge.
The MB Face to Face seat is only suitable up to 9kgs (usually around 10 months).
You will probably need to invest in some all over kind of sunshade anyway for the child's feet (forget parasols!).

Forevergreek, just looked at the breezy shade. It's beautiful! Just what I want (as just can't see DD putting up with the Vista shade down, much as I love it!)

I've just been looking at second hand Bees and wonder if anyone knows whether the breezy shades fits ALL Bees? On the Mothercare site it says fits all 2010 models... So does that mean it doesn't fit newer models?

The 2010 Bee is the newer Bee, as opposed to the 2009 which is the older Bee. It's not terribly clear I admit!
