Slime in air wheels? When do you use, as preventative or only after puncture?!

Hiya

Someone recommended "Slime" for my Bugaboo donkey wheels and so I have bought a can but now I am confused whether to slime the tyres now (which the friend implied I should) or just carry the slime and use in the event of a puncture - anyone got any advice for me please?

Thanks!

You use it as a preventative measure.

I had it put in the tyres of my Mountain Buggy about 3 years ago after getting punctures seemingly every month. I've not had a puncture since so I can highly recommend it.

Slime seals punctures from the inside because the escaping air carries the slime to the puncture. It is a preventative measure which although in the literal sense won't prevent a puncture, it can prevent the effects of a puncture.

Do it now! I haven't had a puncture with my Phil and teds since sliming it.
