I'm not quite sure how I get myself into these situations sometimes Blush.

After 'just looking' at a different doubles seat for my P&T yesterday, I have now managed to buy and pay for a whole new buggy and doubles seat HmmGrin.

Fingers crossed it's less hassle to fit in my boot than other P&T models.

Better get the dash on eBay Grin.

i would get ebay involved with a not as described dispute!

HiccupHaddockHorrendous · 05/02/2013 14:22

I have opened a dispute...I think that's why the seller responded. Unfortunately, all eBay will do is say I need to return it but can't force the seller to pay the return postage.

I need to find a cheap courier. The one I used to use went out of business before Christmas.

Well, I've had a play around with my dash and managed to get the main seat to sit a bit further forward (it seems quite reclined normally) which has given a bit more room for the child in the rear seat. Also, the smaller, dot rear wheels will fit on the dash but not the front one so I could possibly try and get hold of a couple of rear wheels to add to mine and not bother getting a new Dot afterall.

I'm going to have a trip to Mothercare next week to see if they have a dot on display so that I can see the rear seat in action Grin.

I have found a website selling the main seat, doubles kit and raincover for £435. That's the cheapest I've found so will probably go for that if I do decide to get it. Also, I have used that site before.

Right, dot was collected yesterday so I'm just waiting for a refund.

I've found another eBay seller, selling the dot for £250. Too good to be true?

How did this end Hic? Did u purchase another one from a different seller?

How small is the dot? I'm bizarrely drawn to this but have a tinney tiny boot so would have to be super small to fit! Grin

Another one arrived this morning Grin!! (After another failed eBay purchase Angry)

I haven't had a chance to play with it yet but I will report back later...it is definitely more compact than a normal P&T when folded.

Fab thank you!

I drove out to a big Mothercare this morning to have a little play (and to see if it wld fit into my tiny boot) Which is does :) I NEED IT!!

Did u find a good deal in the end? I only need it as a single at the moment!

Enjoy your new toy x

I got it from Practical Pushchairs...it was £348 for the single and a free fleece blanket (quite a cheap one with Practical Pushchair logo on it).

I've just taken it for a test drive and I'm not madly in love with it...yet!

The straps on the buggy weren't long enough for the child I had in it but I think these can be adjusted some more. Would need to do it without a child in it so will have to have a fiddle with it later. However, the child I had in it is 4 so possibly not a problem for you.

The seat appears to be a lot less spacious than I'm used to with the Dash and the Sport but mindee fitted in it and looked comfy (apart from the harness).

The hood is much better, the recline on the doubles seat is fab, the folding is good but I'll have to practice it a bit so that the handle doesn't scrape on the floor and rip the foam.

The handle is less padded and did start to hurt my hand but I was walking up a steep hill, pushing one handed and the wheels could have done with a bit more air...I was in such a rush to get out that I didn't pump them up.

I'm going to have a play with it tonight and have another test drive tomorrow...I'm sure once I stop comparing it to other P&T models then it will grow on me more.

Also, one last thing, I was expecting the rear wheels to be closer together but it is as wide as the dash.

Have solved the harness problem in the main seat and that is all fine now Smile.

Just going to pump up the wheels then it's already for its next trip out tomorrow.

I'm thinking the recline on the rear seat will be enough to make me keep it.

I got one too and am loving it! I am only 5'2" so finding it that bit smaller is making it much easier than the sport for me to manage :) I havent found the seats to be much smaller, maybe the rear one but not a problem for me as dd still in the cocoon for now and by the time she is out of the back seat DS shouldnt be in the buggy x
