Old Urban Detour (2003) Need parts and Service! Help

I have been given an Mothercare Urban Detour Buggy (from 2003) by BIL. It's almost perfect condition except the hood that looks bleached or something, but had some yellowy bits and generally looks horrible and manky. I have thoroughly cleaned it all and everything comes up lovely except this bit.

I spoke to Mother Care and initially they said they could service it and replace any bits, although I told them the year they have now gone back on their word and told me its too old!

What can I do? I have searched ebay but can't find any bits. Where else can I look and where else would service it?

I had this problem as well with an old urban detour. The parts do come up occasionally on ebay, but what I did was buy a complete 2003 urban detour for £20 and use it for spares.

As for servicing, you could try Buggy Pit Stop. Don't know if they would have any spares though.

I've been scouring ebay, but so far nothing and any full pushchairs are too far to collect.

Least I'm not the only one.. :)

I think that used to be made by Petite Star for Mothercare, so it might worth calling them to see if they have any spare parts for it ;)
