Anyone else having difficulty with a maxi cosi car seat & quinny base

I am having great difficulty taking the maxi cosi car seat off the quinny base even my dh admits its hard - v v v stiff also it's 2nd hand so shd hv loosened up.

Anyone else had the same problem or got a solution?

Ds is now 2yo but I don't remember any problems with ours, we used our with the buzz?

I have just bought the old style bassinet for new baby due and that's a bit stiff.
