Mountain buggy urban jungle double - carry cot query

I have a 17 month old with another baby due in two months. We were lucky enough to get a never used Mountain buggy urban jungle double buggy gifted to us by a friend. I have been looking to purchase a carry cot for the buggy but as far as i can tell, Mountain buggy make a different carry cot for both the single and double of the model and i am having real trouble trying to get anyone to advise on which carry cot should fit my model (which admittedly is a slightly older model, maybe 4-5 years old) - given the ones we are seeing are in the region of £150-170, i dont want to buy one over the internet (which seems to be the only way to acquire one) only to find it doesn't fit - can any mums with this model advise?

Hmm...I am sketchy on this, so will stand corrected.
You sound like you have a Duo (double) rather than the Urban Jungle (the newer single one) - so I would forget the words "Urban Jungle" as I think its maybe confusing you. I am guessing it has the older logo as opposed to the newer black one with two mountains?
I am sure that the single carrycot for the double has to have a slider connector in the centre. If you look here the brown carrycot has the slider down one side. The black carrycot above has the clips. The clips will go on the outside of the chassis, but you need the slider in the centre as there is no room on the double for clips.
What I dont know is if there has been any change to this over the years but having had a quick glance around, the newer carrycots seem to be obvious to spot by the newer logo.
I think you need to identify the Duo carrycots ie for the double pushchair with the slider on one side, and then look at the logos to find an older carrycot. OR phone a Mountain Buggy retailer up and have a chat with them about whether a new carrycot will fit the older chassis.
