Would a bee+ hood fit on an older bee?

I've just bought a secondhand Bee and want a different colour hood. All the neutral coloured, affordable cheap ones on ebay are for the bee+ and I wondered if they'd fit the bee.

No they won't fit. The shape and hood rods are completely different.
