Hi I am looking at getting a new pushchair and can't decide between the Mountain Buggy or Phil & Teds. Both have everything I need, just having never had either brand having trouble making a choice.
Can those in the know please tell me there experiences with either? Smile

I've got a Phil and Feds and am looking to replace it with a mountain buggy

It's a shitty combination of heavy, awkward and yet flimsy

Bits keep falling off it, I've had the chassis replaced twice. They've just sent me a bag of screws so I can replace them myself each time one drops out ;that wasn't the original problems, they were with the folding mechanism

I'm keeping my eyes peeled for a good deal on a mountain buggy

The for sale boards in here used to be good but now there's nothing on them. Not sure why that is Confused

Which ones because thy aren't all the same ;) Which MB and which P&Ts.

Phil & Teds Navigator and the Urban Jungle Mountain Buggy. I decided the Dot was a bit too small in the seat area as was the Swift.

They both seem to be very similar, I suppose its just other peoples experiences with them, as that it the best test. All pushchairs look fab in the shop!

Hello,

Just to throw another one in the mix... Have you thought about or had a look at the Baby Jogger Range, specifically the Summit XC?

Don't know what you intend using it for but if it's something with off road capabilities it looks good. No I have to confess I don't own any of those mentioned here, but I am very close to buying a Summit XC, just need to gather the funds :-).

I briefly tried one out and also had a go with the mountain buggy (think it was a terrain) and the Baby Jogger seemed so much more sturdy. It was bigger though, although that was mainly in the wheels. This is a very good website and they're very helpful if you call them....

Good luck with the decision making :-)

I actually agree with Omaya. You will get more for your money and better features, recline etc. from a Baby Jogger - from either the Summit or the Elite. I would prefer one of these anyday over a P&T's or MB although if pushed, I would definitely choose the MB.

Thank you for your replies, will check out the Baby Jogger. I mainly need the big wheels for all terrain, beach, woods etc........
But my house isn't that big and have a narrow front door, so need to take that into consideration.
Thanks

Hi Girls,
I have the MB urban elite for sale in Dublin ( with the carrycot, raincovers etc), it's blue and beautiful; abs. loved it but it must go now; we are going to put on up on donedeal this evening - have a look if you are interested
