Babystyle Oyster, will it do birth - toddlerdom?

I have been looking around for a compact (ish) pushchair that can be used from birth to walking preferably, as money is a bit of an issue.

My requirements are:
Walking in town
Forward/Rear facing
Lightweight
Able to take on public transport regularly
One piece fold
Compact fold

If anyone has any other suggestions I'd he greatful :)

What is your budget?

Mine has done birth to toddler. DD is 2 in Nov. Will be using it for newborn in a couple of months with buggy board for toddler.

One - glad to hear its served you well, have read so many bad reviews I was starting to swither!

Tiggy - can't really spend more than £350 on pushchair, which I know doesn't go too far with this kind of product.

I like the Oyster a lot, but I prefer the Mutsy Evo more for good seating position plus you don't need a carrycot (some places sell it without). I like that you can drop the handle right down in confined spaces. It's lovely to push too. You could get a Bugaboo Bee for a little bit more. Or a Baby Jogger Versa. The latter has a brill one handed fold which would be useful for public transport. All would serve you well though.

Tiggy would a njoy bubble be bad in this scenario? Sounds like it might fit the bill pretty well what with being small, light and narrow etc.
