Maclaren xt footmuff how long did yours last?

My son is 1 in September so I don't know wether or not to get the footmuff for winter? He is quite small, how long were you able to use it?

DS2 is 20 months but still quite small as was premature...he still fits into his XT footmuff quite easily. Ive actually also got a Buggysnuggle which Id intended to use rather than buy the proper Maclaren one but after 2 days of it dragging on the floor I got one lol!

I think I'll get one then can't deal with a blanket dragging on the floor and wrapping up in the wheels! Angry
