hi there i have a quiiny zapp for my 22 month old they tip with shopping tip when they stretch leggs out and touch a wall etc . My soms feet nearly touch the floor on the zap. If your son is average height he will be too big for it . i had to remove the roof as he wouldnt fit in pushchair when it was closed .However ive investigated to death the alternatives and thi is still the best choice. Get one off ebay.

Our easy walker is plenty big enough for my large 3 year old and 4 year old, I'd recommend that brand. We also have a Quincy Zapp and I would say that is too small for a child who looks about 5.

I also bought a second hand mamas and Papas ecko (I think that's what it's called) 3 wheeler and the seat is so big, it makes my large 3 year old look tiny! I've seen them advertised gorgeous about £20 an absolute snip and the seat and hood are washable. It's solid and I live it. (I can even get both kids on it if I need to).

I'm a bit of a pram freak and have had 6 prams in total so lots of practice!

Sorry about the typos, must preview properly!

Also, on the mama's and Papas one I was saying about, if we use the leg support my large 3 year olds legs do not yet touch the footrest so may be ideal for your needs.

I've just seen your comment about 3 wheelers and I understand what you mean having had the Quinny Zapp but the mama's and papas one is solid and it's never tipped on me even one handed steering.

I don't know the official max weight for the pram but like I say, I've had my 19kg (3year old) and 14kg kids on it together, no problem and I can still push it easily too.

I've got a baby jogger city elite, my DD is very tall for her age. She has plenty of room in it, her feet are well away from the floor/wheel. It is a 3 wheeler, but mine has never tipped! It's solid! I think uk model states weight limit of 15kg but American sites list it as 25kg. DD is 15kg yet it is so light to push and manoeuvre.
