Red kite push me twin sport, how wide?

Hi does any one have a red kite push me twin sport double buggy, 3 wheeler? And if so would you mind confirming how wide this buggy actually is please? Some websites are saying its 84cm wide, which I think will be too wide for getting in and out of shops, yet some say it's 76cm which sounds amazing!

I can't find a website for the manufacturer and I can't find anyone in other forums stating how wide it is, especially newer models of the buggy.

I am one very confused mother requiring a decent double which can be pushed one handed whilst I walk the dog and hold the three year olds hand on nursery run....help me please! Lol. Thanks in advance.

Also can anyone recommend a double buggy that me be better suited for my requirements. The main attraction to the red kite one is the price! Thanks

I believe 76cms is correct.....I too had noticed the difference in the widths. The way to check would be to phone Red Kite themselves. if you find out any different, do let me know! It looked like a decent pushchair when I saw / played it.

Well I managed to track down their website, gave them a call and they say that it is 76cm unfolded! Woo hoo! I mentioned that perhaps an older version could be wider but he didn't sound too sure. They said that they had tried making one that would fit through a standard doorway but they found it too narrow in each seat for the children so stuck with this width. So I'm guessing if I buy a new one it should be 76cm wide when unfolded. ...I hope! So il prob steer clear of eBay bargains as everyone I've messaged selling on eBay have found the outer wheel to outer wheel to measure about 82-83cm.
Hope this helps anyone :-)

Thanks for that...i thought it was. I think half the issue is that it looks like another pushchir which is cosiderably wider. 76cms should just squeeze through an older standard doorway if you are lucky :)
