Do old Bugaboo Bees have wheel problems too? Or is it just the Bee Plus?

Hi

Does anyone with an old bugaboo bee have problems with their wheels shimmying or anything else? I've heard a lot about the wheel problems on the Bee but i don't know if it's just the Bee Plus. Also does anyone know if bugaboo have rectified this problem for the most recent model?

I've got a baby on the way and i wanted to get a bee as I live in london in a basement flat so weight & an easy fold etc is a big factor for me, but i'm worried about the wheel issue. Is it safer to buy a second hand orginal Bugaboo Bee than a new Bee plus do you think? Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks

I just bought a new Bee and it came with soft washers to stick on between the front wheels and the frame, which supposedly sorts out the shimmying problem. There are 3 sets so they can be replaced as they wear out.

I would say it's better to go for a new one as then you're covered by the warranty if anything goes wrong.

The old bee was worse, trust me. Go for new if you can afford it, then it's covered by warentee.
