Going on holiday in oct and so need to start looking for a pushchair that folds down small (tiny boot & luggage for 5 people plus a bulky wheelchair) but will be suitable for my 4mo baby ie reclines etc.

What do you recommend folks?

We had a maclaren techno xlr from birth with a carry cot, but he probably used the seat occasionally from 3 months and full time from 6 months.

It depends how much they are going to be in it. If not much then you could take a frame that fits the car seat. I'd be worried that an umbrella fold would be a bit unsupportive and chilly but there are nicer ones.

I would look at a Quinny Zapp Xtra - 2 pieces but probably easy to fit in a car boot or a Baby Jogger City Mini - flat fold so slides on top of everything else and just pop the wheels into any spaces that you can. The Oyster Gem may well be out by then - althought doubtful. The Petite Star Zia+ has a flat recline as does the new Petite Star Bubble.

Are Mclaren still making the Pop? That was toasty warm with the footmuff and rainguard etc and beautifully light. I used it from 8-12w until DC was too old to want it.
