I decided on an Oyster a few months ago, and at the time nowhere had any stock, so I wanted to order it in to make sure it's here by mid August, ready for my cs on the 20th. I ordered from a local independent nursery shop so that I could actually go back to talk to a person if I had problems (a plan which backfired on me as last weekend I found out that the nursery dept within the furniture shop is due to close in a few weeks!) at the beginning of May. I phoned last week and the chassis and car seat are in, but the colour pack and apron weren't, they said they'd be in at the end of June/ beginning of July. After looking online and everywhere saying stock would be in by mid July I changed my colour pack choice to grape from claret which seemed to be in stock. Now they're saying that the colourpack is in but not the apron, and online stores are saying September for it! I know that the baby will be in the carrycot/car seat for a few months so I don't need the apron yet but I'm just wondering what's going on with Babystyle? Anyone know why they can't seem to maintain their stock levels?
