Universal seat liners and footmuffs for Bugaboo Bee Plus

Do the universal ones fit ok? I love my Bee plus, but only have the cocoon for DD and am a bit aghast at paying £95 for a Bee footmuff!
Anyone have a Bee and not use the Bugaboo liner/footmuff?

I was also hesitant at paying so much for the universal footmuff but I did get it and am really pleased I did...it is easy to get on, it fits really well and is so warm and cosy. DD calls it her "snuggly pushchair" when we have it on. And it washes brilliantly. I'm not sure it's such a great fit in parent-facing mode because it is very long and ofcourse there's no foot rest in parent- facing mode but it's not been a problem for me as DD always faces outwards. I'm expecting DC 2 and have been deliberating about getting the cocoon but have decided to because I think it will be lovely and cosy for a December baby.

Does the cover unzip off completely, i.e could it be used just as a seat liner as well? Still not sure about spending nearly £100 on top of the price for the pram, but you might convince me! Wink

Yes the cover does unzip completely; I've done this when we've been out and it's suddenly warmed up. What about looking on ebay as they seem to come up quite often.

I have only used it parent facing and it is a bloody disaster. JL claim their own brand fits.

I had the original bee and bought a buggysnuggle cowprint one
www.buggysnuggle.com/
mainly because I wanted to be able to find my buggy quickly in the mass of bugaboos parked at toddler groupGrin
It worked fine , not quite as it was supposed to but with a bit of jiggery it was fine and sooooo cosy (I was very envious on wintery days)

Good idea re: ebay, will have a look.

TheSurgeonsMate, what exactly was wrong with using it parent facing as that is how I'll be using it?

Thanks for the buggysnuggle link, will check that too.

Too long! Almost under the wheels when pushing. Actually under the wheels while doing steps.

thanks for that, will investigate further, might need to try one on.....
