my front door is 71cm wide. I have 5 children the three youngest are 3,1 and 3 months. the 1 year old and 3 month old are currently in a silvercross side by side and the three year old either walking or on a buggy board. I am SICK of dragging it out putting it up getting all the kids in it outside (even worse in rain!) etc I do it twice a day for school runs and come september when the 3 year old is in nursery ill be doing it morning, lunch time and afternoon!.
I just want to be able to get them into it inside and wheel it out the door.

I need it to be fairly comfortable and quite good for walking as the school run is just under a mile eack way so at the moment im walking it 3 miles odd a day. for that reason as well it would be useful for a buggy board to work on it. I dont use a bus very often so that isnt really an issue.

I have phil and teds in my head but im not sure how a buggy board would work on that and my poor 3 year old will be exhausetd when she starts nursery i think, 3 walks back and forth plus a moirning in nursery is alot.

any ideas?

My Maclaren Twin Techno fits through our front door (just!) and our front door is not especially wide - i will measure it if I can find tape measure. It is much easier than struggling on the driveway in teh wind and rain BUT do be prepared for your hallway to get filthy in muddy weather - we have wooden floor so easy to clean (and also I don't care that much about the dirt...) but if you have pale carpets, they'll get ruined.

Not sure if there's a buggy board to go with twin buggies.

Hmm, just checked and the opening for our front door is 78cm so bit bigger than yours. To squeeze through tight gaps, I semi-fold the umbrella fold with the children still in just to lose a tiny bit of width but would be a pain for you to do that every single time.

Have a look at the Mountain Buggy Duet (63cms side by side) and the Uppabably Vista with Rumble seat and piggyback board on. There are details on both here.

I'm with tiggy, for some reason I'm leaning in the Uppababy direction but I can't say for sure why that is. Perhaps it just looks like it will work better with a board than the Duet?
