I went to John Lewis today and saw a Nuna Pepp pushchair, which was super lush and amazing, but I cant seem to see anywhere else in the UK that sells them, you can only get them shipped from abroad..

But I found one called a Mamas and Papas Nuna, which looks the same but is discontinued...

Are they the same? Any can I get one anywhere other than John Lewis? Was hoping to find one cheaped! (although hilariously its actually cheaper to get one shipped from abroad than to buy it in John Lewis...)

I was going to order from these guys if I can ever make my mind up about what I actually want. I think it works out less than the uk. I liked the Wineberrry colour

The Nuna Pepp has an extra recline making it suitable from birth. The M&P is suitable from 6 months. I think JL still have the exclusive on the Nuna. I seem to remember it being January when they came in and they usually get either a 6 or 12 month exclusive.

right. so how come mamas and papas stopped making it then? odd. i want a new one but dont wanna spend £200 in John Lewis. Might get it shipped, it does come cheaper. There are so many colours though lol I cant chose!

M&P never made it, Nuna made it and gave them the.exclusive on it I think. M&P do that a lot. Nuna never stopped producing them, they just weren't selling them here for a year.

I have a beautiful duck egg nuna that i could be persuaded to party with Grin
I have only used it a few times and stuck it back in the box as had to get a double for DS2 so not the best person to review it though!

milkymocha · 02/06/2012 22:53

Part with Blush not party with! Well maybe Smile

I have a Wineberry Pepp but previously had a M&P yellow version...The seat on the pepp is slightly higher and the basket is lower at the back...A pram shop owner told me that M&P are famous for falling out with companies...M&P used to sell the Joolz but now Joolz sell it themselves under the model name of Day...Both Nuna and Joolz are Dutch companies.

I have seen one, I am not sure what others think but the seat unit is not very padded at all. I preferred the bjcm as there is more padding. Comfort for smaller babies is a real issue.

WelshCat · 05/06/2012 09:31

aye that is true, but my DS is almost two so not that much of an issue!

bjcm looks cheap to me... i know it has good reviews but looks cheap and nasty!

I have fancied a Nuna Pepp for ages but I am 5ft 6ins and have been warned that it would be too low to push for me :(

WelshCat · 05/06/2012 16:04
