Phil & Teds - I can't see the difference between their models! Give me a clue!

Ok, so I need to sort a double buggy, it needs to be pretty friendly to rough terrain. P&T seem to be the best option, but I'm buggered if I can see any real difference between most of their models! I've seen a good price second hand vibe - is this different from the explorer? Any comments would be most welcome, but especially those relating to ease of steering/ durability/ good over rough terrain. Thank you wise buggy users!!!

Try this or the P&Ts website for the differences.
The Vibe is quite different to the Explorer in style if nothing else. I'll send someone else over to help re handling etc!! The other things to look at are leg room, how tall the upper seat is, reclining doubles kit or not, how tall the doubles kit is for when its on the front ie in newborn mode. The Vibe 2 I believe is better than the first version as well!

That's a really great website, thanks! milk - mountain buggy looks quite nice, but that page says they wouldn't recommend the rear seat for an under 2 - my situation is I'm pregnant and when dc2 is born, dc1 will only be just under 15 months, so she will still be under 2 when she has to move to the rear seat. Suggestion appreciated though!

How about the Mountain Buggy Duet? Your age gap is not too bad to get the Duet and its the same width as the single Urban Jungle. It doesn't work well with siblings with a bigger gap, but it may well work for you. Do you need a tandem because there's loads of good off road side by side pushchairs? I can't think of another off road tandem TBH that works well for your age gap.
