Tips on folding/unfolding p&t sport, without breaking my back.

Bought it second hand ages ago, baby due in 5 weeks so just working it all out.

Doesn't feel too bad to push although hard to steer compared to my bugaboo, but my god is it heavy to lift I had a go at folding and unfolding earlier and think he pulled my back.

Is there a technique? And can you fold with second seat attached?

No, you can't fold with the second seat attached. Beyond that I can't help. Have you tried YouTube for demo videos?

You can't fold it with the second seat on.
I had a bugaboo before my p&t- once I got used to it I found it much much easier to steer and fold than the bugaboo.
Not sure I can give advice on the folding- there may be videos on kiddiecare website or you tube. It seemed to be quite easy.
I would look at mine and attempt to guide you threw it but it died on me last week after years of abuse Grin

It shouldn't be hard to steer - check the tires are pumped up properly.

I havent folded mine yet but my friend showed me and she seemed to do it ok but she said it took practise!

Ok well it seemed to just fold in half but was shocked at the weight when I tried to pick it up, and how hard (because of the weight) that it was to unfold again. I'll try youtube and c he I can find a video.

When you unfold it you should be able to just press the buttons and unfold it easily by pulling up the handle. The front wheel sort of flicks up. Sorry- not very helpful but it shouldn't feel too difficult

folding it up should just be a matter of standing infront of the buggy and pressing the buttons on the side (little black levers) and letting the back half drop down. Then turn the front wheel to side so it is sitting compactly against the basket and press until you hear it click. That means it is locked closed. You can then lift it into the boot.

Unlocking is just a matter of pressing the grey buttons on the side and pulling either the handle or the front part up (depends which way you are standing).

So far as i have ever been able to work out (had a sport for 2 years) the handlebar get dirty every time.

You can see a demo on Youtube here:
