Decided on p&t explorer, what accessories do I need/you recommend?

finally decided what double buggy to get! DS will be 2.2 when baby comes along.
Gone for explorer as can use car seat & doubles kit at same time.
So I need to buy the buggy, doubles kit, double rain cover & car seat adaptor.

What else? Do I need a cocoon (baby due in may, will it be to warm in cocoon?), or can they just go in the lie flat bit? Or does peanut work in doubles mode?
Also is it worth getting 2 x footmuffs?
Any explorer advice welcome!
Tia

the cocoon is a waste of cash as it's lifetime is really short and it's the wrong season. Personally i have found buggysnuggles better than the p&t footmuffs as they are longer (length wise) so you get more use. the best accessory i had was the hang bag for my purse, keys and phone.

I think it depends on you with the cocoon I picked up one second hand from ebay and dd3 fitted into it for quite a while (June baby) just used it with minimal blankets etc. I used it as a safe place for dd3 when taking dd2 into groups toddlers etc where buggies weren't allowed and so got loads of use.
