I'm looking to buy the Stokke Xplory and wondered if anyone else has bought it. There are so many individual bits I wondered if anyone could recommend the most cost effective way of buying, from personal experience????

If you can get to one of the Baby Shows, they are really well discounted there.

Really? Great thanks, I'll try and get to one.

Yes, very good savings, I was thrilled. You can't buy from Stokke directly at the show, but stores like Kiddisave offer good discounts there. They have it in pink too! Not sure if it is powder pink, I have not seen in in the flesh.

I just bought mine from the Baby Show on Friday - so excited! We went to the Stokke stand first to see it in action and then to the Mothercare stand who took 10% off the total price. Mothercare would also price match anyone else at the Show too.

Did you go for the purple one, purpleboots? :)

Ha ha! Nearly....opted for beige in the end

Ah, lovely! Well, enjoy!

I am going to the baby show in Birmingham next month and am hoping to buy the Stokke Xplory there. I have seen it for £725 in Mothercare so would like to get it even cheaper than that if possible. The 10% discount on that price would be good.

For those who have been to the show, is it easy to haggle and get good prices on things, or do they stick to their prices?

Also, for those who bought a buggy at the show, do they deliver or can you take it away with you? I am going by train so can't really cart loads of boxes.

Any help would be appreciated.

Best buy the year we bought it was from 'Back in Action', a shop in Amersham. We bought it in the shop as we were local at the time, but they have a website you can order from. Worth checking out. Customer service is excellent. The new xplory colours are lovely, but I'm excited anyway about reusing our black one for DC2 who is due in June.

If anyone is still looking there is a red one for £650 on Amazon (only 1 left)

(blue is £700)

I paid £730 for the Xplory and Carrycot package from Back in Action. Wanted it in khaki green and kept checking google for the cheapest price. Then Back in Action price matched me with the colour I wanted.

When I googled I also included colour and would click either the 'shopping' or 'images' tabs to browse. Took ages, but you do find lots of little retailers with good prices.

Then bought the footmuff seperately. Best price I could get was £88 for that...

Good luck!
