Best footmuff for Maclaren Quest Sport?

Have just ordered the above buggy for dd (23 months), as wanted something compact with a one piece fold for nipping out & about. It doesn't come with a footmuff, and I notice the Maclaren one is just a universal one, but also quite pricey at £40. So can anyone recommend a good alternative? Ideally I'd prefer something that will fix in with the straps, I can't bear it when you see footmuffs dangling onto the floor! Dd is only tiny, so don't need mega length (she currently wears age 12-18 month clothes). Many thanks.

To be honest, ideally if you know somebody handy with sewing machine, I would have it custom made just the way you want it. I got inspired by

Hi I got a Bundle bean footmuff from Asda for around £27 - it doesn't enclose the child but keeps DD very warm and has a lovely soft fleece inside.

Thanks sparklystar, I'll certainly consider it.

I got a buggysnuggle for my latest stroller - it's lovely and warm and best of all slots over the top of the seat so it doesn't slide down when child does 'ironing board' impression!

Thanks Flootshoot, that's exactly what I wanted! We currently use an iCandy Cherry, & I love the fact that the footmuff fixes over the back of the seat.

Hi Flootshoot, I don't know if you'll read this now, but just wanted to let you know that I received the buggy & Buggysnuggle today, & it's perfect! Dd insisted on taking her shoes & socks off to appreciate the full fleecy effect! Thanks for the recommendation! Smile

Aw that's lovely - what pattern did you get?

ThePetiteMummy · 22/02/2012 22:29

Just plain black actually. I wasn't sure of the exact colours of the buggy, so thought I'd play it safe. It looks smart though, & dd fell asleep on her first trip out in it today, so all good!
