Sorry, dull I know, but which is the narrowest side by side double buggy?

I've got 7 month old twins and currently have a Baby Jogger City Select.

It's been great when they're tiny, as the carrycots were really comfy and clicking the carseats on and off is so handy. But once they're out of the carseats, I'm left with a bit of a beast of a buggy that's pretty heavy to push.

I'd love a side by side but I have a narrow alleyway at the side of my house that it has to fit through - 74 cms wide.

Do I have a hope?

The Mountain Buggy Duet is 63cm wide. There are some side by sides that are.73 but that could be a pain keeping away from the walls.

The BJCS is a particularly heavy tandem. I would look at getting a Britax B-Dual 67cm without the mudguards, or an iCandy Peach which is 60cm wide. But if getting a Peach, I'd wait 2-3 months and get the new version with a biggrr lower seat that sits upright. A cheaper option is a Kids Kargo Duelette. It's only suitable from 6.months in the seats but would be fine for you.

There are reviews of all these on bestbugg.co.uk.

Thank you. Do you know which side by sides are 73 cms? The alleyway is wider, with one narrow gateway which is 74.5, so it might be doable with one that is 73 cms.

The Kids Kargo one looks interesting and I hadn't heard of it - thank you for that.

I looked at the B dual when pg and discounted it at the time but it might be fine for toddlers.

The Mountain Buggy Duo and Air Buggy Mimi are both 73cms wide.

They look great, but anything a bit cheaper?

Air Buggys can only be bought second hand
You should get a good chunk back for your BJCS....

Mmm. I was just thinking that. Lusting after the MB Duet now. For toddlers you don't need all the extras, carry cots, carseat adaptors etc so maybe we could stretch to it. Bet they'd go well second hand too. Hmmmmm.
