Can I put a carrycot on a 2009 BJCM double?

Thats it really. A friend has offered me one for when DC2 turns up which I'm going to accept as I love my single so much. As the pushchair is free, I thought I'd get the carrycot to put on it but can't work out if the carrycot is actually compatible with an older model. If its not, then I'll just put DC2 in the pushchair with it flat.
Also, does anyone know if you can get new baskets for BJCM's? My friends has got a massive rip in it which she has "mended" with a mixture of tape & plastic but, again, I thought I'd get a new basket if I could. I can't see them as being separately available anywhere though, even on the BJCM website.

No you can't put the Baby Jogger carrycot on a pre 2011 model as they have conjoined hoods and no middle sockets. You could certainly add a soft cot lie a Petit Zia or Graco one though.
Yes, you should be able to get a replacement basket. Give Kooltrade a call and speak nicely to them :)

Presumably, the P&T soft cot thing would also work in the BJCM? I think I'm going to end up with a P&T (or another tandem) as well as, whilst the BJCM will be perfect for the walk to nursery, its just not going to be any use for shopping. Your previous posts had convinced me to get the B-Dual but DD just wriggled around trying to get comfortable in it as she couldn't work out what to do with her feet whereas she looked very happy in the P&T Explorer.
