B-Dual -- urgent question for Tiggy and those with this buggy.

Would this buggy really go on beach and down a steep muddyish track? Someone just down the road is selling their vg condition one for £150 which sounds reasonable? I have just been outbid again on phil & teds on ebay.

Ah, sorry, doesnt look like you can fit cabriofix on, this may scupper it as I cant afford new car seat.

Yes you can put a Cabriofix on using Oyster adaptors (probably a Pebble too) but its not safety approved.
I took the B-Dual onto our beach where there was soft sand and it performed better than our Phil&Teds. But it's not really an off roader so don't blame me if you get stuck. But I have photos of it on the beach if you need proof!! I don't know about thick mud but it would handle an average muddy track.

B-Dual on the beach As with most beaches, it was thicker sand at the top and it went through that fine. I didn't even lock the front wheels.

Just to add, do you know if it's a 2010 or 2011. If its the older version you ay not get the adaptors to push the front seat forwards although EBay would be your friend. Like these

Tiggywunkle · 04/02/2012 19:54

Maybe I need to explain...you get black long adaptors that you can fit to the top socket which push the seat forwards by about 20cms and if I remember correctly they are needed to put the car seat on top too.
