Uppababy Vista - has anyone imported from the US?

We are due to have our baby on 12th April and have our hearts set on the Uppababy Vista as it's Which? No.1 best buy, the reviews everywhere are excellent, and we tried it out this week, and it seems it's the one for us.

As it's American, we have seen that we can get it far cheaper from the States; around $400 versus £600 over here. Has anyone had experience buying from the States and if so - any tips!? :)

Buy from Amazon.com :) Cheap to post plus they charge duty up front so you don't get any nasty surprises.
I believe the warranty is honoured in the UK.
If you scroll down there's at least two threads re importing the Vista.

Hi Tiggywunkle - we have tried to buy from Amazon.com but it blocks it saying they don't ship to the UK :(

Perhaps you need to check the amazon.com seller is actually amazon.com and not one of their marketplace sellers? Amazon.com would ship to uk. There were many other sellers on amazon.com who would not though.

How odd, I just checked and it seems the import of these from the USA has been stopped now!

I could get a Cruz sent over last week....hmmm!

They won't now! Looks like uppababy have stopped the international trade of their products!
