Maclaren Techno XT vs Maclaren Techno XLR

So, I've been googling and researching and asking and reading and I reckon the buggy we will go for will be a Maclaren - either the XT or XLR.

Just wanted to see what people on here would recommend between the two - I mean, the XT is obviously cheaper, but does paying a bit more get you a better buggy or just some nicer colour options?!

Really only interested in the durability and practical aspects of either, but am prepared to pay more for the XLR if it's worth it.

It's my first child so I'm a complete novice as to what I should look for in a buggy other than will it fit in the back of my Clio!

i have no idea about an xt but i have owned an xlr and it was huge and huge folded and did not stand up when folded, i hated it and got rid really quick

I have had Xt and loved it (there was another thread on here where me and others waxed lyrical). With a buggy snuggle in was fine from birth and frankly the grey colour way has held up well given the use it has had.

Just had it renovated for no 2 to use .

Haven't had an XLR but really loved the XT. It's done DD1 and is now 'resting' waiting for DD2
