Questions about importing an ABC buggy from NZ

I'm seriously considering getting an ABC from NZ, but I'm worried about how much extra tax I will have to pay for importing a buggy.

Has anyone bought one directly from the Adventure Buggy Company, and if so how much import tax did you have to pay?

And more importantly, were you pleased with the buggy :)? I know that it'll drive like a tank - but I need a solid buggy as we live in a rural location (I will continue to use my Maclaren for in town).

yep and even more annoyingly the person who bought it seemed to be a seasoned pushchair seller who will probably relist in a few wekks - oh crap it wasn't anyone here was it

Definatly do a bin or offer, especially this time of year. If it is reasonable,based on previous sales patterns you should be ok.

LOL we need to agree a price TIY to get hopefully the same!! I have just dug out all my bits to sell mine! LOL

ahh well yours will be worth more than miine cos it's much newer and has more stuff with it :-)

as long as I cover the cost of getting my seat imported I'll be happy tbh!

I think there are more options for double buggies and maybe that's why a single with toddler seat didn't sell so well dobby? If this one I've bought isn't as described wear and tear wise, I won't accept it anyway- they had photos of all scuffs and a damaged buckle on.
